Set-up of Medical Equipment Maintenance and Repair Workshops

Medical devices and other substantial equipment was supplied to numerous hospitals and health centres in Ethiopia by the German NGO Menschen für Menschen.  In order to secure long-term benefits of the medical technologies, technical know-how, maintenance of the equipment and training of the personnel are indispensible. For this purpose, technical workshops were established and equipped in Ethiopia. Over the years, TTM in particular provided support to training programs for local personnel, e. g. in the form of mentored internships organized by TTM and equipment manufacturers.
